This Acceptable Use Policy sets out activities that are not permitted on SyncTech's hosting, email and network. It protects all our customers and keeps our infrastructure healthy and trusted. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited content & activity
- Illegal content or activity under Malaysian or applicable law
- Malware, phishing, or content designed to deceive or harm others
- Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights
- Adult content involving minors, or other content prohibited by law
Email & anti-spam
Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) is strictly prohibited. Mailing lists must be permission-based. We use inbound and outbound protections and may rate-limit or suspend accounts that generate spam or harm our sending reputation.
Network & resource use
Do not attempt to breach security, disrupt the network, or use resources in a way that degrades service for others. Shared plans are subject to fair-use resource limits published with each plan.
Security
Keep your applications, plugins and passwords up to date. Compromised sites that threaten other customers may be suspended until secured, our Website Care service helps prevent this.
Enforcement
We investigate suspected violations and may remove content, or suspend or terminate services, with or without notice depending on severity. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
